My Story
​DruAnne Martin-Nutzell founded Asgard Dog Grooming in 1988 after completing a professional grooming course and certification at the New York School of Dog Grooming in Manhattan, NY. In 1992, she tested and became the third National Certified Master Groomer in the State of Tennessee. She is the first NCMG to serve Farragut and Loudon County. DruAnne is certified in Animal CPR and First Aid. DruAnne is active in the Tennessee Valley Kennel Club. Alaskan Malamute Club of America. She has shown, bred, and raised over 23 AKC Champion Alaskan Malamutes and Akitas. She is currently owned by a Doberman Pinscher, Loki and a Standard Poodle McIntosh. Thru her years in the profession, DruAnne has worked for several veterinarians as an assistant, and has assisted internationally known professional AKC dog show handlers at dog shows and in their show kennels. She has judged Sweepstakes and Open shows in the US and Australia. Her knowledge of breed standards and canine care is an asset when grooming your fur baby!! In 2007, Asgard Dog Grooming purchased their first mobile salon and evolved into Asgard Mobile Dog Grooming. DruAnne is lifetime member of the International Society of Canine Cosmetologists and the American Mobile Groomers Association. She is has published articles on mobile grooming and on other canine topics.
